Add the onions and garlic and 2 tablespoons of chicken stock or water and cook for 6 more minutes, mixing often.
Move the mixture to the side and place the sweet potatoes on the bottom of the pan. And bring the mixture over it.
Add the chicken back in, all the spices, craisins and raisins, silan and the fresh herbs and then remaining chicken stock or water.
Cover and place in the oven for 1 hour. Serve with rice, Bulgar or couscous and a lemon wedge.

Today's recipe is designed to be paired with Shiran Hamenazeach 2015, a red blend made from Petit Verdot and Petit Syrah grapes. This wine was made to take the consumer on an exciting drinking experience with perplexing aromas of pink oleander, blueberry, vibrant fruit and serious spice. The wine is tannic with a lovely undertone of fruit on the flavors of cocoa, tobacco and smoke. This wine is definitely one for the palate (the winemaker says that this wine is, out of all of his wines, the closest to expressing his personality and winemaking style).
