Eli Poch started working in the wine industry at the young age of 13, coordinating a school fundraiser. Some years after, he was trained by Grafstein Wines in Toronto Canada, and at the George Brown College of Hospitality, where he achieved his degree in Food and Beverage Management.
 
Since then, Eli has continued to develop his experience in Event Planning and Food Services, as well as deepening his education through working closely with various wine makers in the local Israeli market.
 
2½ years ago, Eli created the Jerusalem Wine Club and has built it into what it is today - a full-service, one-stop, multi-faceted wine experience. We offer tastings and tours, and supply wine and cheese for special events.
 
In August of 2013, The Jerusalem Wine club opened its first full-service store in Efrat / Gush Etzion; it was the only wine store in the area south of Jerusalem, servicing 40,000 residents. In March 2016, we relocated it to the Kibbutz Kfar Etzion Commercial Center, alongside a long list of thriving, growing new businesses that serve the entire Gush Etzion community.  In addition to wine, the store carries chocolate, local beers, liquors, and cheeses.
